Rose layered sponge cakes - Macphie


Method Makes 38 cakes

  1. Mix the Macphie Vegan Muffin & Cake Mix and liquids (including rose flavouring) on slow speed for 1 minute, scrape down then mix on middle speed for 6 minutes.
  2. Divide batter into 4 equal parts and colour. Deposit batters into 7x6 lightly greased foils and bake at 180°C (360°F) for 25-30 minutes.
  3. To finish, trim the slabs and cut unto 3” circles, sandwich and top with rose flavoured and coloured Macphie Vegan Frosting.
  4. Butterfly is cut out of vegan suitable sugar paste.
