Recipe Spinach and ricotta waffles
Ingredients
- 1000g Macphie Complete Pancake and Waffle Mix
- 1235g water
- 265g melted butter
- Spinach
- Fresh ricotta cheese
- Macphie Plant-based Taco Sauce
Method
Place the Macphie Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix into a machine bowl fitted with a whisk. Add the water and melted salted butter and mix for 1 minute on a slow speed.
Scrape down and mix on a medium speed for a further minute until a smooth batter is formed.
Place a measured amount into a pre-heated waffle iron, distribute the spinach and ricotta, and cook until fully baked through.
Cut into triangles and generously drizzle with warmed Macphie Plant-based Taco Sauce.
